Animal rescue organizations tend to attract a special kind of person – to
our joy and gratitude! The value of their contribution
goes well beyond monetary support. These "kind hearts and helping hands" bring
energy and creativity to our task with wonderful results. It reminds
us that everyone can make a difference, no matter their age or
the size of their pocketbook.

Hello,
Our daughter, Devika, is having a party to celebrate her 6th birthday this Saturday, December 13th. This year she has happily agreed to forgo receiving traditional birthday presents so that she can help support a cause she cares about. As such, she has eagerly decided to raise funds for Animal Aid. Please see the attached invitation card [below] that went to her friends. We do not celebrate Christmas either, so we are overjoyed and proud at her self-motivated maturity, both since it reduces over the top consumption and at the same time helps out.
Both our beloved and sweet cats, Inji and Spunki, benefited from the rescue and re-hab. efforts of your organization and awesome volunteers - so it is a special thing for them too!

Well, the birthday party was a success!
"Devika's birthday party had
a great turnout, with 12 children contributing to her box and the children
and parents really enjoyed themselves. We have not counted the contents,
and will leave it for you to do so."
Devika came to the shelter in person to deliver her marvelous gift to Joene
Pike, our Executive Director. Would you believe that the contents totalled
$175.00?
