Good to Know

  • All adoptable animals receive any necessary veterinary care, are current on all vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption,

  • Not all animals available for adoption live at our shelter – all of the dogs and several of the cats are in foster homes. To meet these animals, please submit an adoption application. Once it has been reviewed you will be contacted to arrange a meeting.
  • Important: Because we do home visits, we rarely adopt out of our local Portland metro area and we never ship an animal.

Are you the ONE? I have a lot of hope that YOU are the one for me. In the season of new beginnings, my only wish is to love and be loved in the light of spring and beyond. I’m easy to please. We could enjoy strolls in the park or a walk on the beach and after that, lounge by the fireside or watch TV.

Being a Corgi mix you would think I would have no trouble finding my peeps, right? Even though I get along with other canines and even felines I’m still searching for my permanent family. When I was a young pup life was good and I was popular. Now that I’ve matured and learned the finer things of living with humans, like house manners, I find myself homeless and familyless! Getting old is not for sissies and I’m proof of that! I do have a couple of special needs that I take medication for and sure do hope that doesn’t stop me from finding my forever home. Will you be my miracle family?
