Meet Blake

It’s me. Blake. Yes, I’m still waiting for a home. My brother, Benny, is still here too. I just don’t understand why no one wants to adopt us. I think we’re both handsome guys, we are charming and love people and other cats. We’re smart and playful too. If we want to play, one of us will pick up a ball in his mouth, toss it across the room and chase after it!

Here we are having some fun. Hah, I finally got the pen out of the bag. And here I am playing da bird with Grayson. He did all the chasing and jumping, then I ran over and caught it. Pretty good, huh!

The thing is, I’m trying to be confident, but deep down it’s really sad that we’ve spent our whole lives here. We were born March 2009 and came here with our mom and littermates when we were old enough to be adopted. Here we are in the kitten room. You’ve got to admit that we’re cute. Mom found a home, so did our littermates. But Benny and I are still here, like leftovers that no one wants.

There’s so much we haven’t experienced because we have never had a home. We don’t know what it’s like to sleep with our family or have someone around at night. Or what it’s like to have privacy. Or to have the same people around – someone to bond with and love, who we know will always be there for us. Isn’t there anyone who wants us to be part of their family?
