  • Not all animals available for adoption live at our shelter – all of the dogs and several of the cats are in foster homes. To meet these animals, please submit an adoption application. Once it has been reviewed you will be contacted to arrange a meeting.
  • Important: Because we do home visits, we rarely adopt out of our local Portland metro area and we never ship an animal.

I was a fashion accessory! Like a little Prince, I was carried around. So much so that I've lost mass in my major muscle groups! I'm just a wee bit of a dog, barely 4 pounds so it was easy to just carry me around except I was born to walk! Even Chihuahuas like me need our daily walks. It helps to keep things moving ;^)

My foster mom got me out of the county shelter where I came in as a stray and very sick. She's nursing me back to health with medicated baths and antibiotics. I should be good as new in no time! She has kitty cats and even though they are bigger than me I've tried to engage them in play. Silly cats don't know what a play bow is!

Even though I'm a little guy, I'm still a dog and would love a chance at a home where I can get daily walks outside to sniff the grass. I would be ever so grateful and you would have a loyal and loving friend when you adopt me.

Milo will be available for adoption mid November and his adoption fee is $200.
