This lovable boy is having his adoptable debut this week! Learn more about him below, and stay tuned for his official posting here on our website very soon.

The Basics: Hola! I am your new best amigo, Sebastian! I was scooped up off the streets of Mexico and made my way up to South Pacific County Humane Society in Washington, where I quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. There, I was diagnosed and treated for anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis due to a tick bite. I was treated with doxycycline for months, but still tested positive for anaplasmosis, despite never having any symptoms. We think I carry an antibody to the disease and will continue to test positive, but I am a young and healthy pup otherwise! I wasn’t a huge fan of shelter life, so the kind volunteers and staff at SPCHS reached out to Animal Aid, and I have been the happiest dog ever since! Now I am looking forward to spending furever with my special people and cozying up to you in a nice warm bed.

Likes: Playing, playing, playing! I also like destroying stuffies, getting pets, being with my favorite humans, and getting my zoomies out around my foster’s yard.

Dislikes: Too much handling! I need some time to get to know you before I feel comfortable with you handling me. I also am not a fan of other dogs! You may notice some scarring on my face—that is most likely from some scuffles during my time as a street dog, so I would really appreciate being the only dog in the home. I have been noted to get growly and possessive of my person with other pups around, tooI want all the attention to myself, por favor!

Looking for: An active home with a fenced backyard and people that will devote all their love to me and spoil me with lots of toys and adventures!
