The Basics: I’m petite Apple and I’m a special kitty. I am very sweet and gentle and I love attention. I’ve been in Animal Aid’s care for over a year now but have had some moderate medical issues so haven’t been up for adoption. I’m not a demanding kitty but I have some digestion issues with Irritable Bowel Disease so I eat a special food. I also take a low dose of steroid in liquid once a day and it looks like I should stay on this for life. Before I found this combination I had soft stools frequently and would lose weight rapidly. I’m still fussy about eating and need someone who really wants to show me TLC as I’m a very loving kitty but I’m sensitive.
Likes: I’m a love bug when I know you are safe. I like to sit close by my person and give kisses if I’m really happy. I also like to play occasionally and watch birds and squirrels out the windows. My favorite toy is a small yarn ball. I love heating pads and my cat tree by a window.
Dislikes: I’m an easy going cat but I probably wouldn’t like another cat or dog who gets in my face as I can be a little shy.
Looking for: A home that will spoil me and help me gain some weight and work with my sensitive digestion issues. IBD cats like me can be a lot of work with vet visits and sensitive digestion so I am looking for someone who understands my needs.
My estimated birth date is 8/31/2015.
All of our animals are vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and cats are tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLv). All animals receive any necessary veterinary care (dentals, etc.) until the time of adoption.
