The Basics: Meow, I’m darling little Larkin! I’m petite and fluffy and very social. I love people, and I love to play.
Even though I’m a young cat, I have an old injury that must have happened when I was a kitten: a fractured pelvis bone. It makes me limp a little sometimes on one of my back legs; however, I went to a orthopedic specialist who told me that since I don’t seem to have any pain and I can still run and jump well, they don’t want to do surgery or anything. I’m more prone to getting arthritis in that joint, though, and a surgery might be needed years from now if it’s get painful.
I’m a lovely companion, and I shed very little for having so much floof!
Likes: I love to cuddle, and I love play time. I like to be near you and put a paw on you. The people here at the shelter aren’t sure how I feel about other cats or dogs yet.
Dislikes: Not much so far.
Looking for: A home that will pamper me and be prepared for an estimated $3K surgery in my future.
I’m in a foster home so please fill out an adoption application if you would like to set up a meeting with me. My estimated birth date is 11/9/2018.
All of our animals are vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and cats are tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLv). All animals receive any necessary veterinary care (dentals, etc.) until the time of adoption.
