Meow!! I’m the very active and engaging Rosalind! I’m a high energy kitty who is looking for a cat experienced home. I was surrendered to Animal Aid as my family had a sick child who was going to the hospital frequently and they didn’t have time for me. I’m in a foster home so if you want to visit me please fill out an adoption application.

All of our animals are vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and cats are tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLv). All animals receive any necessary veterinary care (dentals, etc.) until the time of adoption.

I’m very talkative and like a lot of attention. I wouldn’t do well in a home where someone is gone more often than not. Sometimes when I play really hard I breathe hard and the vet said it could just be the way my sinus cavity is. It doesn’t seem to be a problem for my activity level or long term health.

I’m very smart and have started clicker training to do tricks. I can give high fives now!

Likes: I love food! I love playtime even more! I also enjoy petting and spending time with my people. I love brushing! I am super playful and sometimes I will just sprint in circles for no reason. But I love to play with people the most. I love getting pets, head scratches, and the occasional belly rub. I love watching birds out the window and will chirp at them.

Dislikes: I do not like other cats at all. I like to chew up houseplants so you could say I dislike them.

Looking For: I am looking to be an only cat with someone who is home a lot. I may be ok with certain mellow small dogs actually. I would do best with a cat-savvy person who knows when I need my space. When stressed I can swat so I might not do the best with small children.

My estimated birthdate is 12/2/2019.
