Hello, I’m sweet and silly Sheldon! While I can be a little shy at first, I adore people and attention. I had a home for some years, but life changes for my guardian made them unable to care for me any longer. A few years ago, I had a dental with a lot of teeth removed, and I have another dental scheduled in June to possibly remove a few more. I’m a happy, relaxed guy usually, although I do get nervous in new situations and I might not eat for a little bit.

Likes: I love sitting on a lap. If I’m not in your lap, then lounging in my heated bed is my happy place.

Dislikes: I don’t seem to like other cats or dogs. I do sometimes nip and can get startled by loud noises, so I wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with small children.

All of our animals are vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and cats are tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLv). All animals receive any necessary veterinary care (dentals, etc.) until the time of adoption.
