Hey yo, I’m Rudi! I’m a four-year-old hunk. Sometimes my office mate calls me Rudi-Tudi-Fresh-and-Fruity, but only she can get away with that!
I am a gentle, shy guy who likes to take things real slow. I like to think of myself as a gentleman and will purr very loudly to show you that I enjoy your company and want petting. I like a slow hand and one that doesn’t come directly at my face—scritches behind my ears and along my back are my favorite! I’m pretty floofy, too, so I do adore a good brushing.
Okay, this next thing is a tad embarrassing, but I may as well get it out of the way now: When I’m really happy, I drool. There, I said it!
I’m a special-needs guy because I have a history of severe colitis, likely due to IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease). Several tests, medications, and foods were tried before my issues were thankfully resolved with my current prescription diet of Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome, so I need to continue eating this going forward. The good news is that I enjoy my kibble, especially if you sit with me while I dine: I am a social eater for sure! It’s possible that I could have flare-ups in the future and may need to see a specialist, so I want any potential adopters to know about that.
I spend many of my days on my cat tree snoring audibly (although there’s no proof of that!) or sunbathing on my window shelf. Sometimes, if I’m in the right mood, you can get me to play with a wand or string toy. Often though, what I love best is just to sit by my person and enjoy their company. If you’re looking for the love of a good cat, I’m the one for you!
